    The Côte de Beaune is known for its great white wines. The tour follows the Burgundy Grands Crus route, listed as UNESCO World Heritage, through villages such as Aloxe-Corton, Pommard and Meursault, and gets close to Grand Cru plots such as Montrachet and Corton-Charlemagne. The guide covers the region's history, viticulture and winemaking techniques, and the Climats and their classification. Two private, commented tastings take place at producing estates, with Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. Lunch is at a restaurant on the Wine Coast.
