Full-Day Burgundy Wine Tour by Small-Group Van with Three-Course Lunch and Grower Tastings (7/7)

- A proper lunch: instead of a quick snack, the day includes a refined three-course bistronomy meal among the vineyards, served with local wines. - Smaller names: the stops go beyond the big houses to "Rising Star" winemakers and private family domaines that are often closed to the general public. - The Climats made clear: the tastings untangle Burgundy's complex Climats, whether the glass holds Pinot Noir or Chardonnay. - A small van: the Route des Grands Crus is driven in a premium 7/8 seater van. Groups stay small, so each guest gets personal attention and the mood stays friendly.

  1. Puligny-Montrachet

The drive crosses the vineyards and old wine villages of the Côte de Beaune and reaches the Montrachet Grand Crus. A stop here covers terroir and how the wines are classified.

  2. Santenay

Meet an independent winegrower in the vineyard, where they introduce their Domaine. A walk to the cave follows, with 6 wines tasted alongside the grower: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay, Premier Crus included.

  3. Monthelie

A second independent winegrower awaits in Monthelie, a hidden gem. The old winery and cellars are toured while the grower explains their winemaking. Five wines are tasted from Meursault, Monthelie and Beaune, including a Premier Cru.

  4. Nuits-Saint-Georges

A relaxed traditional lunch at a local restaurant, included in the tour price.

  5. Aloxe-Corton

The Grand Cru vineyards of the Hill of Corton show how terroir and scenery change north of Beaune.

  6. Vosne-Romanee

The route heads north through the Côte de Nuits and Nuits-Saint-Georges to Vosne-Romanée, home of the vineyards of Romanée-Conti, La Tâche and others. An independent winegrower pours 5 wines, Premier and Grand Cru.

  7. Beaune

The return to Beaune follows the Route des Grands Crus. This is a sample itinerary, not a fixed tour. Route and stops may change with grower availability, and guest requests are met where possible. The quality of the wines tasted stays the same.
