This tour out of Florence starts on four wheels. Guests drive a quad ATV, or ride as a passenger, along paved roads and off-road tracks through the woods and vineyards of Chianti. A guide runs a short training session first, so everyone is comfortable with the machine before setting off. The second part of the tour is by minivan, modified specially so the scents and colours of the vineyards and olive groves of Chianti Classico come through along the way. The first village stop is Montefioralle, a small medieval hamlet dating to the 1100s. The next is Greve in Chianti, known for Piazza Matteotti, where shops under the arcades sell local artisan products. The tour ends at a winery with a classic Tuscan lunch. Six wines are poured with the meal, each chosen to go with the course it accompanies.
