Two-Hour Guided Vineyard Walk in Cumières with 3 Champagnes and Local Food Pairings

A guided walk through the vines of Cumières, a village near Épernay, lasting 2 to 2.5 hours. The guide covers the village itself, the history of the vineyard landscape and the work done in the vines through the year. The tasting happens outdoors, among the plots: 3 champagnes from an independent winemaker who is not based in the town. The grapes for each cuvée come from plots passed during the walk, so the link between terroir and aroma can be tasted rather than just described. Local products are served alongside to show what pairs with champagne: Reims ham, Langres cheese and the pink biscuit of Champagne.
