Small Group Full-Day Champagne Tour from Reims: Three Family Growers, Ten Tastings, Lunch

A Mercedes van carries a small group through the Champagne vineyards for a full day with three producers. The day adds up to ten tastings: three Champagnes at each grower, plus the glass served with lunch. It includes cellar visits, a two-course lunch and a stop among the vines for photos. The tour runs in English only, and at least 2 people are needed for it to go ahead. The order is simple. A first winemaker explains how the wine is made, shows the cellar and pours three Champagnes. Then comes Hautvillers, where Dom Pérignon worked, and a stop in the vineyards. Lunch is at a restaurant near Épernay: a main course and a dessert, with a glass of Champagne, coffee and water. The afternoon holds a short cellar visit at a second grower and a tasting of three Champagnes from a third, a Grand Cru producer.
