Reims Morning Champagne Tour: Two Family Growers, Six Cuvées, Montagne de Reims Vineyards
The morning tour leaves at 9:20 am from in front of the tourist office at Reims Centre train station, and is back there at 1:10 pm. The first producer is a boutique vineyard, with a long visit that follows the méthode champenoise from pressing the grapes to ageing in the cellar. Three cuvées are tasted. The second visit is shorter and run by the owners themselves, who show their estate before pouring three more cuvées. A stop in the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims sits between the two. The format suits first-timers as much as regular Champagne drinkers.
