This private day in the Tuscan countryside is built around time rather than distance. It follows a slow-living approach, with room to taste and walk without the rush of a typical group tour. The route includes a medieval hilltop town chosen by the guests: the towers of San Gimignano, or a quieter Chianti village such as Greve or Castellina. The core of the day is a long, relaxed family-style lunch at a historic boutique winery, with wines poured where they were made.

  1. Tuscany

The private guide collects guests at the hotel reception and drives to the Chianti region, known for green hills, tall cypress trees, architecture, art, and local food and wine.

  2. Montefioralle

The first stop is Montefioralle, a medieval village counted among the most beautiful in Italy, in Florentine Chianti. Ancient walls, narrow cobbled streets, stone houses and panoramic terraces keep its medieval character. The private guide leads the visit.

  3. Strada Statale 222 Chiantigiana

The Chianti region is known for its good food and excellent wine.

  4. Castello Di Verrazzano

On the way to Castello di Verrazzano there are photo stops against Tuscan hills, vineyards and cypress-lined roads. The guide describes the castle's history and the particulars of winemaking in the area during a walk around it. Three wines are tasted with typical products such as cheeses and cold cuts, and a visit to the wineries shows how wine is made with age-old techniques.
