Poças Guided Cellar Visit and Tasting of Two DOC Douro Wines and One Port Wine
Poças is more than 100 years old and now run by the fourth generation. It is one of the few Port wine companies that was born Portuguese and has stayed with the same family since its founding. The house built its name on old Tawny Ports, but its DOC Douro wines have shown their quality for 30 years too. In 2019 Poças received the title of Fortified Wine Producer of the Year 2018 from Revista de Vinhos. The Visitor Centre, which welcomes about 28,000 people a year, earned a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2018. The visit is a family-scale one: the aromas of the wines and the daily routine of a working cellar.

Pocas Vinhos
A guided walk through the cellar, with a tasting at the end of Port and DOC Douro table wine. The order is the Poças Reserve White, then the Reserve Red, then a 10-year-old Tawny and an LBV. Food pairings can be selected to go with the wine.
