Pink Palace in Porto: Eleven Rooms of Rosé, a Pink Ball Pool and Five Wine Tastings

The Pink Palace is a rosé museum, not a standard wine tour. Eleven brightly coloured rooms are given over to rosé, and the layout is meant to entertain as well as teach, without the rules of a traditional tasting. Five rosé tastings come with the visit, from Portugal and other countries. Mateus Rosé and Croft Pink Rosé Port are among them. Between glasses there is a giant pink ball pool to jump into and a vintage Cadillac to pose in, plus photo corners throughout. The route runs from the sunny Provence rooms to the hills of California and ends in a pink-themed Wild West saloon. It suits wine lovers, photographers and anyone who wants a lighter take on wine.
