  1. Gray Monk Estate Winery

George and Trudy Heiss, an Austrian-German couple, left hairdressing for winemaking in the early 1970s and turned their Okanagan orchard into a vineyard. They planted Alsace Pinot Gris, Pinot Auxerrois and Gewurztraminer in 1976 and were the first to grow Pinot Gris in Canada. Gray Monk opened in 1982 with 125 cases made in a garage and now makes over 100,000 cases a year, known for fruit-forward whites. Includes 4-5 complimentary tastings and time in the shop.

  2. Intrigue Wines

Intrigue Wines began in 2008 when two families joined forces: a winemaker, an accountant, an internet entrepreneur and a healthcare professional. Geri entered wine in 1998 with Cascadia Brands and later worked at Gray Monk Cellars. Roger, the winemaker, has a background at Tinhorn Creek and Gray Monk. Ross handles logistics and design, and Jillian handles customer relations and marketing. The award-winning wines come from their "Two Wongs Make a White" farm in Oyama. Includes 4-5 complimentary tastings and time in the shop.

  3. Peak Cellars

Peak Cellars is Lake Country's newest winery for wine and food, inspired by Dennis O'Rourke's adventurous spirit. The estate-grown list includes Pinot Gris, Riesling and Rosé. The 300-acre property has 110 acres of vines, wine caves and views of orchards, vineyards and Okanagan Lake. A half-acre organic garden supplies the Garden Bistro. Includes 4-5 tastings and time in the shop.

  4. Arrowleaf Cellars

The Zuppiger family founded Arrowleaf in 2001. They came from Switzerland, moved to Canada in 1986 and farmed dairy in Alberta before settling in the Okanagan. After five years of growing grapes, eldest son Manuel trained in winemaking in Australia and the Okanagan. Arrowleaf opened in 2003 with six wines and 3,500 cases, and now makes over a dozen wines from a 16-acre estate plus 30 acres nearby. The Tasting Room, designed by architect Robert Mackenzie, opened in 2014. Includes 4-5 complimentary tastings and time in the shop.
