Half-Day Van Visit to Munoz Bruneau Family Champagne Estate, Épernay Pickup
This half-day excursion runs on a guide's local knowledge and a comfortable van. From Épernay it climbs into the Marne Valley vineyards and ends at a family estate, Champagne Munoz Bruneau. The route passes through Champillon and Hautvillers, where the viewpoints look down on the Marne and Épernay, then follows the hillsides to the estate. There the cellars and equipment are explained step by step, so the way champagne is made is clear before the glass arrives. Three different champagnes are tasted at the end. The day is spent in the vines and small villages of a quiet, friendly stretch of countryside, with the guide driving and talking throughout.
