Chianti Half-Day Minivan Tour from Florence: Two Wineries, Village, Piazzale Michelangelo
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
FlorenceA luxury minivan takes the group out of Florence and into Chianti, past vineyards, olive groves and cypress-lined roads. An escort talks about the history and traditions of the region on the way. The first stop is a family-run boutique winery. Its cool cellars hold oak barrels, and the first Chianti tasting happens there. Next comes a medieval village, with cobblestone lanes and views over the rolling hills. At a second winery, the food tasting is built from seasonal ingredients: rustic bread with olive oil and cured meats, each paired with estate wines. The afternoon ends at Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence, a terrace with wide views of the city in golden or evening light.
