An afternoon coach leaves Florence for two Chianti wineries, timed so the tastings fall in the golden hours. Each estate looks over rolling hills, and each pours several wines with some Tuscan finger food. Between glasses the group walks among the vines, visits a cellar and hears from the winemakers how the wine is produced. On the way out, the guide talks about the history of wine production in the region and the Gallo Nero, the black rooster.
