Épernay South Half-Day Tour: Voirin-Jumel in Cramant, Jean Milan in Oger, Hautvillers
This half-day tour starts at the Épernay Tourist Office and heads south of the town, through the Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, before finishing at Hautvillers. The drive begins on the Avenue de Champagne, past houses such as Moët & Chandon, Perrier-Jouët, Pol Roger and Boizel. Then the road climbs into the vineyards. Two family-owned houses are visited, each with a tasting of three champagnes. Champagne Voirin-Jumel in Cramant comes first. Champagne Jean Milan in Oger follows, with a guided cellar tour. The last stop is Hautvillers, birthplace of champagne and home of Dom Pérignon, among the UNESCO-listed vineyards. A panoramic viewpoint over the Marne Valley closes the tour before the return to Épernay.
