Chianti Hills Afternoon Wine Tasting from Florence: Seven Wines and a Vinegar Cellar
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
FlorenceThe afternoon begins with a walk between the vine rows, where the winery explains how the grapes are grown, what the soil is like and which varieties go into the wines on the tasting list. Next comes a welcome toast of local sparkling wine and a visit to the vinegar cellar. It covers how Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and traditional vin santo are made. The tasting room closes the visit with seven selected wines: fresh whites, structured reds, sparkling wines and a vin santo. Each glass comes with local products that change with the season, such as cold cuts, cheeses, organic extra virgin olive oil, oils flavoured with white truffle and chilli, and aged balsamic vinegar.
